“Rick’s Sailboat,” 9″ x 12″. I did this painting while on vacation at a friend’s lake house on Caspian Lake. It was so satisfying to paint outdoors in the early morning. But the lake changes fast! This is a compromise between what the lake looked like when I started and what it looked like when I finished the painting.
